    Overview of role

    As a Key Account Manager within OMDIA, you will be primarily responsible for bringing in net new business within an existing set of Key Accounts (10-25 accounts). You will work as part of an account team that’ll also include a Subscription Account Manager (responsible for renewals), a Customer Success representative (responsible for growing client usage and satisfaction) and an SDR (responsible for generating new business leads within your accounts)

    Areas of Responsibility and Accountability

    • Develops strategies, approaches, and plans (account plans and sector plans) for future growth and communicates those with passion and energy to future and existing clients
    • Meeting achievable, weekly KPI’s to ensure a disciplined approach to pipeline growth and maintenance
    • Achieving monthly and annual new business sales targets
    • Identifying and engaging with new and existing prospects to gain understanding of their specific challenges
    • Proactively responding to inbound inquiries and self-generated leads based on a deep market and product understanding
    • Reporting accurate forecasting and performance metrics to key internal and external stakeholders, highlighting revenue risks and opportunities
    • Working with the wider Omdia analyst and consulting teams to ensure that clients are delighted with the service they receive
    • Working collaboratively with other Informa TechTarget sales team to position larger, unified solutions to your customers
    • Travelling as needed to meet face to face with customers and prospects
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Required Qualifications:

    • Proven track record in new business development, with the ability to identify new revenue opportunities and maximize product potential
    • Demonstrable experience as a top-performing individual contributor in a solutions-based B2B environment
    • Strong team player mentality, able to collaborate effectively within a sales team beyond individual needs
    • Working knowledge of the technology, media, and telecommunications (TMT) marketplace and the business models within it

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • 5+ years of experience selling technology market intelligence or consulting services
    • Experience selling into industries such as:
      • Electronics
      • Semiconductors
      • Telco Vendors
      • Physical Security
      • IoT
      • Manufacturing Technology

    Additional Desirable Skills:

    • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technological concepts to diverse audiences
    • Strong analytical skills to interpret market trends and client needs
    • Experience with CRM systems and sales automation tools
    • Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships
    • Adaptability to rapidly changing technology landscapes and market conditions
    • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach to meeting and exceeding sales targets
    • Proficiency in creating and delivering compelling sales presentations and proposals
