    Key West Aloe is a premier cosmetics company delivering the largest selection of luxurious aloe-based formulations from its flagship retail store in Key West and its eCommerce website. As a growing company, we seek an Inventory/Supply Chain Coordinator with a comprehensive understanding of the complete inventory process who will be responsible for directly managing the various aspects of sourcing component/raw material inventory and scheduling/delivering finished goods inventory based on forecasted demand. This candidate will be responsible for all functions associated with inventory control, distribution and replenishment, maximizing quality and minimizing costs while supporting goals within the company’s supply chain objectives. You will be accountable for timely cost/quantity reconciliation of purchase orders and proper handling of each stage of the finished goods stock replenishment cycle.

    Inventory/Supply Chain Coordinator Responsibilities

    • Manage and forecast demand for all finished good inventory

    • Coordinate purchase and delivery of raw materials/component inventory stock (bottles, caps, tubes, labels, etc.) from outside suppliers, including overseas sources

    • Investigate, research, and manage relationships with low-cost suppliers for all materials/component inventory

    • Manage pricing and production/manufacturing schedule of outside contractors, including prioritizing and expediting delivery of certain finished goods.

    • Evaluate costs and time schedules for components, raw material, packaging, and delivery from suppliers/vendors, including managing international shipment freight and import duty costs as well as label/packaging printers

    • Update technical drawings library for all components currently in use for each finished good

    • Communicate with suppliers to resolve issues regarding product quality, pricing, delivery or conditions of sale

    • Document and optimize the inventory control process with the development of standard operating processes and procedures

    • Partner with accounting department in the timely processing of purchase orders and receiving of raw materials, components, and finished goods

    • Create and deliver inventory management reports including finished goods forecasting, out-of-stock reporting and inventory turn analysis

    • Attend monthly meetings and present inventory levels of finished goods

    • Review compliance levels for all current finished goods and work with marketing to ensure appropriateness. This includes ensuring labeling is updated and accurate

    Qualifications and Required Skills

    • High School Diploma or G.E.D. with solid job references is mandatory, B.S./B.A. preferred.

    • Minimum 5 years of proven experience in inventory management in a component/finished good environment

    • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Teams)

    • Advanced Excel skills including experience with pivot tables and conditional formatting is required (an Excel skills assessment test will be administered prior to hiring)

    • Experience working with an eCommerce system, (Magento or Shopify) and familiarity with Sage accounting system is preferred

    • Cosmetics/Beauty/Skin Care industry experience or relevant industry experience where there are components, raw materials, finished goods and contract manufacturers to produce finished goods is mandatory

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills - exhibiting tact, courtesy and ethics at all times is essential

    • Must possess strong time management and efficient organizational skills

    • Must be within reasonable commute distance of warehouse/office located at 3590 NW 54th Street, Fort Lauderdale, FL

    Job Type

    Full-time (Onsite), 8-hour workdays, Monday through Friday 7:00 AM through 3:00 PM EST (can shift 8:00 AM through 4:00 PM EST). Hybrid Remote possibility after a 6-month review of proven job aptitude and competency.

    Compensation

    $50,000 to $75,000 annually, commensurate with level of experience
