KidStrong Assistant General Manager/ Coach (Full-time)
WHAT IS KIDSTRONG?
KidStrong is Athletic Play – a new kind of activity for kids ages 1-11 that builds confidence, character and family connection through science-based fitness games led by expert coaches.
Athletic Play builds happier, more confident kids
Our science-based fitness games are specially designed by child development experts to improve kids’ emotional, mental and physical skills. Each week, kids join us for a 45-minute class that is developmentally appropriate, fun and challenging.

What We Expect…

Someone with a solid understanding of sales and operational excellence who, in combination with the GM, will use our lead generation / marketing strategies plan to increase sales as well as engage in customer relations with members and parents.
A leader with a positive attitude who is ready to utilize a thoughtful approach to all aspects of the organization while taking great satisfaction in meeting and beating goals, with a “Win the Day” philosophy. Someone with experience with kids, who leads from the front, getting on the mat and teaching 3-5 classes per week.
Role Summary/ Expectations KidStrong Assistant General Managers are the second in command when it comes to the center. It’s the responsibility of the Assistant General Manager to work closely with the General Manager on fostering a culture of learning and development for both their coaches and families that attend the center and delivering key business results such as sales performance and lowering member attrition. The AGM will drive the KidStrong sales process from lead generation to closing the sale. The Assistant General Manager is a talented, welcoming, and engaging leader who is focused on delivering an exceptional experience for the kids, families, and team members.
This is not the typical 9a-5p job – successful AGM will be in center and available to families when they are available – mornings, evenings, and weekends. The AGM will spend the majority of their time in centers but will also spend time in the community at events building brand awareness and partnering with Area Developer on strategies to maximize center performance.
THE ROLE & SCHEDULE
We are looking for an assistant general manager with a teaching, sales, athletic or coaching background who ideally have experience coaching kids ages 1 - 11 years old
Ideal candidate must also be comfortable speaking to parents/guardians regarding “the why” behind the KidStrong curriculum
Our classes run typically weekdays 9 am -11 am and evenings until 7 pm, and weekends are typically from 8 am through lunch/noon.

ASSISTANT GENERAL MANAGER RESPONSIBILITIES
CENTER OPERATIONS
Understand the center’s key KPIs and financials to make informed and responsible business decisions.
Build and maintain relationships with KidStrong families to align with our core values and provide exceptional customer service.
Oversee center-level initiatives i.e. center maintenance, training, brand consistency, etc.
Daily, Weekly, and Monthly cleaning and maintenance of the center
The typical schedule includes 4 weekdays and 1-weekend shift with specific hours dependent on the needs of the center.
Communicate any Coach schedule changes using appropriate scheduling and communication platforms.
Schedule and sell KidStrong events such as camps and parties, to maximize center profitability.
Low usage and parent concerns/ questions calls
SALES
Maintain flawless lead management by conducting call drives to new and existing leads in the Center’s CRM tool.
Finalize sales and bookings that are generated through online self-sign-up flow.
Source and attend local events to increase brand awareness and drive incremental leads and memberships.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Passion for working with children is non-negotiable!
Previous experience with membership sales is preferred but not required
Prior experience coaching students within the appropriate KidStrong age group is preferred
Prior experience speaking to and educating parents on the KidStrong curriculum
Intermediate knowledge of physiology, exercise techniques, and body mechanics
CPR certified
Positive, motivating, and effective interpersonal communication skills
Self-starter who just gets a job done

Base Salary: $33,800-$41,000+ and an achievable monthly bonus framework
Compensation Structure: Easily attainable sales targets.
Tier 1: Achieving this tier will earn you an additional $200 monthly/$2,400 yearly on top of your base salary.
Tier 2: Achieving this tier will earn you an additional $300 monthly/$3,600 yearly on top of your base salary.
Tier 3: Achieving this tier will earn you an additional $400 monthly/$4,800 yearly on top of your base salary.
Tier 4: Achieving this tier will earn you an additional $500 monthly/$6,000 yearly on top of your base salary.
