Part-Time schedule. Afternoon/evening and weekend availability required
OPEN ROLE
We are looking for coaches with an athletic or coaching background who ideally have experience coaching kids ages 15 months - 11 years old.
KidStrong Coach would focus on coaching children on brain, physical and character development that stems from evolving monthly curriculum as provided by the HQ programming team
Ideal candidate must also be comfortable speaking to parents/guardians regarding “the why” behind KidStrong curriculum and have strong public speaking skills
Our classes run afternoons/evenings from 3:00- 7:30pm
Weekends we start at 8AM and run through 2pm
Opportunity for a flexible work schedule depending on center needs.
Additional opportunity to increase scheduled hours through Academy & Private Classes
Prior experience as a pediatric OT/PT, teacher or personal trainer is a plus, but not required!
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Passion for working with children is non-negotiable!
Prior experience coaching students within the appropriate KidStrong age is preferred
Must be able to work in a physically intensive environment - coaches may cover multiple miles in a shift moving through class, lift and repeatedly move equipment up to 35 pounds in weight.
Must be comfortable working "hands-on" with kids to ensure proper technique and ensure student safety.
Prior experience speaking to and educating parents on KidStrong curriculum
Intermediate knowledge of physiology, exercise technique, and body mechanics
Positive, motivating and effective interpersonal communication skills
High energy and enthusiasm, professional and coachable- receives feedback well and strives to improve each day.
