We are a dynamic group of behavioral health professionals and facilitators. We seek to hire (3) three experienced Mental Health Therapist to join our team. Must be licensed in MD/DC
Position Summary
Psychotherapist is responsible for providing diagnostic assessments, therapeutic treatment services, and support services for a diverse caseload to include adults, adolescents, and children. These outpatient psychotherapy services will be provided via teletherapy (online/video chat) or in-person. Average caseload is 20+ clients.
Duties
● Provide comprehensive individual therapy, family counseling, group therapy or marital/couples treatment.
● Provide clinically sound diagnostic assessments and develop treatment plans for children, adolescents, and adults.
● Maintain confidentiality of client records.
● Submit clinical notes for billing purposes within 24 hours of treatment and 72 hours for assessments.
● Experience utilizing healthcare software electronic medical records (EMR) (TherapyNotes) and computer systems.
● Demonstrated effective written and oral communication with clients to include professional in appearance.
● Participate in supervision, if needed, case reviews and monthly staff meetings.
Qualifications
● Must have license in the state of Maryland and/or the District of Columbia in Social Work, Psychology or Counseling.
● Two (2) years of diagnostic assessment experience and therapeutic treatment services.
● Flexible work schedule including evenings and weekends (available).
● Strong written and oral communication skills.
● Excellent problem solving, critical thinking and organizational skills.
● Writing sample is required.
● Designated work area/office to include high speed internet, computer, chair, table, and door in adherence to HIPAA compliance.
● CAQH application and Individual NPI number (established).
● Professional malpractice liability insurance policy.
