    This position provides customer support for the Kindred at Home division within a fast paced Payroll Department that supports 45,000+ employees.  Receives requests via phone or email, answers payroll questions, assigns, and/or processes requests received from the field.

       

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    • Responding to phone calls and emails regarding KAH payroll related questions.
    • Logs all calls using Framework, a SAP ticketing system, and includes resolution.
    • Works Framework tickets that come into Payroll Customer Support inbox.
    • Assigns Framework tickets to Corporate Payroll Processors if unable to resolve.
    • Where necessary, investigates employee questions re: payroll issues and works with internal and external departments to resolve.
    • Creating and maintaining electronic employee records in payroll system related to W4 and ACH reject direct deposit updates.
    • Assisting with the transition of new employees during acquisitions or new business start-ups related to payroll questions.
    • Supporting Operations as needed in various projects.
    • Supporting Payroll department as needed in various projects

    Required Skills

    • High school diploma. Some college preferred.
    • 2+ years customer service, telephone, email communication and administrative experience.
    • 1+ years payroll or human resource experience.
    • High degree of emotional intelligence.
    • Attention to detail.
    • Strong analytical/trouble shooting skills.
    • Strong communication and organizational skills.
    • Strong customer services skills and attitude.
    • Ability to work with many different people with different personalities.
    • Strong multi-tasking ability and ability to work through ambiguity.
    • General knowledge of Payroll policies and procedures and DOL compliance.
    • Ability to work with a team to create effective departmental strategies and meet team goals.
    • Strong personal computer skills, including spreadsheet and database usage, Excel and Microsoft Word. Must be technology savvy and highly organized.
    • Ability to work well with others in a team environment.
