    The HR BUSINESS PARTNER, as an individual contributor leads the talent management priorities in a business unit/area, and in partnership with the business unit’s leadership team. Formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organization. The HRBP maintains an effective level of business literacy about the business unit's financial position, its midrange strategic plans, its culture, and works on problems of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial.

    JOB DESCRIPTION:

    The HR Business Partner is the single point of contact for the leaders and associates in the business unit/area driving the talent management agenda.

    • Possesses a deep knowledge of the business unit/area, key associates, and business processes.
    • Collaborates with corporate and support areas to develop and implement HR systems, processes, and programs. Designs, manages, and implements effective solutions that align people strategies and HR delivery model with organization goals.
    • Partners with leadership on significant functional specific strategies and facilitates interventions and solutions that drive a high-performance work environment.
    • Proactively and continually coaches and guides managers in the areas of effective goal setting, development planning, coaching and feedback, performance assessment, and review.
    • Identifies gaps, proposes, and implements changes necessary to drive talent practices which achieve business results and reduce employee and business risks.
    • Consults, advises, coaches, and guides all employees up to and including executives in effectively dealing with employee relations issues, interpretation and application of policies/procedures, legal compliance, disciplinary and termination issues.
    • Leads internal HR related projects and supports change management needs.
    • Exercises effective independent judgment leveraging insights and analysis on complex issues, and decision-making regarding job duties.

     

    REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: 

     

    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Relations, Human Resource Management or Development, or a related field, or the equivalent.
    • PHR/SPHR certification is desirable.
    • 5 or more years of strategic experience in Human Resources is preferred.
    • Broad knowledge of human resource practices and employment laws/regulations.
    • Facilitation and presentation skills and knowledge of adult learning techniques.
    • Problem-solving, decision-making, independent judgment, and negotiation skills.
    • Must display excellent oral and written communication skills, project/employee management and interpersonal skills necessary to collaborate and partner with cross-functional teams.
    • Must have the ability to discuss sensitive and confidential information with a sense of emotional intelligence
    • Multi-site facility experience is a plus
    • Ability to travel as needed
    • Must read, write, and speak fluent English
    • Must have good and regular attendance
    • Performs other related duties as assigned
    • Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
    • This role requires full COVID-19 vaccination
