    Installers are primarily responsible for the pre-install services at our Auburn facility, as well as installation of commercial doors, frames and hardware on jobsites.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

    • Receive, understand and execute work orders which may involve, installation of new materia, disassembly and removal of material, and/or adjustment or replacement of existing material.
    • Install commercial door hardware on doors (ie hinges, locks, door closers, exit devices, protection plates, etc.).
    • Install commercial doors, frames and/or hardware on jobsites.
    • Operate various power and hand tools both safely and skillfully.
    • Represent the company professionally to satisfy immediate customer needs and foster repeat business.
    • Accommodate flexible work hours.

    JOB QUALIFICATIONS

    • Education: High school diploma or equivalent
    • Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record (if doing field service/install)
    • All offers of employment will be contingent on satisfactory results of a pre-employment drug screen.

    REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES

    • Mathematical knowledge, including fractions and decimals

    • Use and accurately read tape measure and rulers

    • Safely operate power and hand tools

    • Excellent time management skills with proven ability to meet deadlines.

    • Quick critical thinking and problem-solving skills

    • Excellent customer service and social skills

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT

    Employee must regularly stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear. Employee must frequently stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; and occasionally climb or balance. The employee must frequently move material weighing up to 50 pounds and regularly up to 125 pounds (with assistance).

    POSITION TYPE AND EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK

    This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work may vary but business hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Overtime may be required.

    TRAVEL

    Travel to job sites may be required.
