Kitchen Food Service Team Member

Full-time Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm (additional hours as required)

If you are an experienced Cook, have a passion for food & enjoy working in a helping environment this is an excellent opportunity. Work in our kitchen and assist with cooking breakfast and lunch for our patient population in a community behavioral healthcare social service program located in East Orange under the guidelines of the Department of Agriculture Adult Food Program.

Responsibilities include:

Assist in cooking breakfast and lunch.

Maintaining a neat appearance and be able to communicate in a friendly and professional manner with the patients of the program.

Must be reliable and trustworthy.

Assisting with all phases of meal service.

Assisting with weekly food ordering, shopping & pick up as needed.

Properly storing food and supplies.

Valid NJ Driver’s license required in good standing for a minimum of 5 years.

Assisting daily in maintaining the sanitation of the kitchen environment and keeping a clean and orderly kitchen area.

Adhering to the standards of the Department of Agriculture Adult Food Program.

Required:

Valid New Jersey Driver's license for at least 5 years with good driving record.

Submit to Background Check and Drug testing
