    Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced and motivated Kitchen Manager to oversee the daily operations of our kitchen. As the Kitchen Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of cooks and kitchen staff, ensuring food quality and consistency, maintaining a safe and clean working environment, managing inventory, and coordinating kitchen operations. You will play a key role in providing an exceptional dining experience by maintaining high standards in food preparation, presentation, and service.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Staff Management: Lead, train, and motivate kitchen staff, including line cooks, prep cooks, and dishwashers. Schedule shifts and ensure adequate staffing levels.

    Food Preparation & Quality Control: Oversee food preparation to ensure that all dishes are cooked and presented according to restaurant standards. Ensure the quality and consistency of all food items served.

    Inventory & Ordering: Monitor kitchen inventory and order supplies as needed. Maintain proper stock levels and ensure ingredients are fresh and properly stored.

    Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations. Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and storage areas, and ensure the team follows safety protocols.

    Cost Control: Manage food and labor costs effectively while maintaining quality. Track kitchen expenses and work with the restaurant’s management team to meet budget goals.

    Customer Satisfaction: Ensure a positive dining experience by addressing any food quality issues, kitchen-related concerns, and customer feedback promptly.

    Performance Reviews: Conduct regular performance reviews of kitchen staff, provide constructive feedback, and implement ongoing training.

    Qualifications:

    Proven experience as a kitchen manager, chef, or similar role in a table service restaurant.

    Strong leadership and organizational skills.

    In-depth knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.

    Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    Ability to manage and train a team effectively.

    Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred.

    Physical Requirements:

    Ability to stand and move for extended periods.

    Must be able to lift heavy items (up to [Insert weight]) as needed.

    Ability to work in a hot, noisy, and high-pressure environment.
