**Job Description:**
We are seeking an experienced and talented Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. As a Chef, you will play a key role in leading the kitchen staff and ensuring the highest standards of food quality and presentation. Your strong leadership skills and ability to manage a profitable P&L.
**Responsibilities:**
\- Lead, train, and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
\- Ensure all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality, taste, and presentation.
\- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
\- Manage kitchen schedules, labor costs, and food costs to achieve profitability targets.
\- Monitor and control stock levels, ensuring efficient use of resources and minimizing waste.
\- Uphold and enforce kitchen policies, procedures, and standards.
\- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to kitchen staff.
\- Stay current with industry trends, culinary techniques, and best practices.
**Requirements:**
\- Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role in a high-volume, seafood-centric restaurant.
\- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
\- Excellent knowledge of culinary techniques, seafood preparation, and kitchen operations.
\- Demonstrated ability to manage a profitable P&L and achieve financial targets.
\- Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
\- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
