At Scratch Bakery Cafe, we pride ourselves on delivering fresh, scratch-made goods to our community, and we're looking for a dedicated Kitchen Manager to lead our talented kitchen team. If you’re passionate about food, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and have a strong leadership background, we’d love to meet you! This position is located in our Laguna Hills location.

Responsibilities:

Oversee daily kitchen operations, including preparation, cooking, and plating of high-quality, scratch-made items.

Manage and train kitchen staff, ensuring consistent performance, efficiency, and team collaboration.

Maintain food inventory, ordering supplies as needed, and controlling food costs.

Ensure all kitchen activities comply with health and safety regulations.

Develop and improve recipes, menu items, and seasonal offerings.

Foster a positive and productive work environment.

What We’re Looking For:

A minimum of 3 years of experience managing a busy kitchen.

Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to motivate and train staff.

Experience with food inventory management and cost control.

Knowledge of health and safety kitchen regulations.

Ability to stand for long periods and work in a high-energy, fast-paced setting.

A passion for fresh, high-quality ingredients and a commitment to excellence.
