    Position Title: Kitchen Manager – Food Services

    Grace Christian School, a private K-8 Christian School, is looking for a full-time Kitchen Manager for the 2024-2025 school year. Located on the east side of Columbus in Blacklick, OH, Grace Christian School is committed to providing an academically rigorous and solid Christian education to our diverse student body. At Grace, the integration of Biblical teaching in all areas and in all classes ensure that our students learn to see God in all facets of life. In our Christ-centered curriculum, God's word is the standard of truth and authority by which all subjects are taught.

    The primary duties include:

    Maintains inventory and orderliness of the stockroom and freezers.

    Prepares menus following food guidelines for children.

    Prepares grocery list for Sous Chef.

    Assures all food safety guidelines are followed.

    Plans snacks for extended care

    Researches and organizes all food ordering.

    Schedules all repairs.

    Maintains food budget.

    Contributes to the team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

    Contributes to the spiritual growth of the program by being a Christian role model in the school and community.

    Performs any and all other assignments as directed by the Head of School.

    Qualifications:

    Associate’s or Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or Culinary Arts (optional)

    Have, or willing to obtain a ServSafe Manager Certification

    Have, or willing to obtain a ServSafe Food Handler Certification

    Classification:
