Position Overview: The Goddard School in Meridian is seeking a dedicated and experienced Kitchen Manager to oversee our kitchen operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the daily preparation and warming of meals, preparing and distributing snacks, maintaining a clean kitchen environment, and ordering necessary supplies for the kitchen, snack, and classroom needs. Additionally, the Kitchen Manager will provide support to classrooms as needed, including assistance with restroom and lunch breaks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the daily warming of meals to ensure they are served at the appropriate temperature and time.
• Prepare and distribute snacks to students in the morning and afternoon.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
• Order and manage supplies for the kitchen, snacks, and classrooms to ensure availability of necessary items.
• Provide support to classrooms as needed, including coverage during restroom and lunch breaks for teachers.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in kitchen management or a similar role is preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Ability to manage inventory and order supplies effectively.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
