    The Goddard School® located in Dallas, GA is seeking a motivated and caring addition to our team. The candidate who is chosen will manage the kitchen duties which includes measuring and serving lunches, preparing and delivering snacks to classrooms and completing kitchen cleaning and upkeep tasks. Once the Students attending After School Program arrive, you will assist them with their needs, help them complete homework and engage with them as they have outdoor play, center time, activities and snacks.

    This job does require light cleaning and maintenance of other areas within the school.

    After School Program Teacher Responsibilities:

    Assist the students in completing their homework

    Support children’s social, emotional, cognitive and physical development

    Prepare classroom materials and ensure safety and cleanliness

    Supervise and provide individualized support to children

    Assist in communicating with parents about their child’s progress and activities

    Adhere to health and safety guidelines

    Qualifications:

    High school diploma required; associate or bachelor's in Early Childhood Education preferred

    Previous experience working with young children in a licensed childcare or preschool setting

    Shows empathy and compassion for young children

    Works productively without supervision

    Basic understanding of child development

    Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children
