Job Description:

As a member of our Kitchen Staff, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the residents receive nutritious and delicious meals. Your responsibilities will include:

Preparing and serving meals following established recipes and portion control guidelines.

Assisting in the planning of menus that cater to the dietary needs and preferences of our residents.

Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces.

Collaborating with the team to ensure food safety and hygiene standards are met.

Communicating effectively with residents and colleagues to provide a positive dining experience.

Adhering to all dietary restrictions and special requests as necessary.

Other duties as assigned by the Kitchen Supervisor or Home Manager.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Previous experience in food service or a kitchen environment preferred, but not required.

A passion for cooking and a willingness to learn.

Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
