Job Description:

The Contractor shall support the development, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise knowledge management solutions. The Intermediate Knowledge System Specialist will work both independently and collaboratively within development teams and alongside end users to deliver tailored solutions. Duties include:

Implement, manage, and support Knowledge System Tools.

Leverage Power BI capabilities in SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 to build dashboard reports.

Provide expertise on various collaboration platforms from both End User and Power User perspectives.

Document roles and responsibilities and deliver training for End Users and Power Users.

Develop, design, and manage content, customizations, forms, and workflows on selected platforms.

Convert legacy workflows and reports to newer platforms.

Utilize modern BI solutions and data sources.

Apply application-level skills with Python, R, SQL, .Net, C#, C++, and experience with Java, JS, HTML, and CSS, as required.

Analyze business needs to determine project scope and design SharePoint Online solutions accordingly.

Create SharePoint collaborative tools such as lists, document libraries, surveys, discussion boards, calendars, webparts, PowerApps, and InfoPath.

Administer SharePoint Site Collections – manage permissions, create reusable templates, and enforce structured, scalable site architecture.

Ensure user engagement by customizing landing pages, maintaining site relevance, and monitoring usage and dormancy.

Collaborate with Knowledge Management Officers for site migrations and capability planning.

Provide Tier 1 support, train users, and assist with knowledge systems training evaluations.

Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications/Skills:

Must have an active SECRET security clearance

Must have an active Security+ (IAT II) certification

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field

Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a SharePoint environment

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Experience with Microsoft PowerApps
