JOB POSITION DESCRIPTION:

No desk work! No one looking over your shoulder! Get out and see the world (well, maybe not the world!)

Outside Sales Reps are responsible for selling goods/services to our retailers across regions. Sales Reps may be responsible for ‘relieving’ other routes or may be assigned their own routes (as available). Our Sales Reps become proficient in the floral business; understanding flower types, supplies and/or potted plants.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Deliver merchandise (cut flowers or potted plans); securing payment by use of a 26' straight truck

Submitting orders via computerized systems

Explaining products, services and prices and demonstrating the use of products

Following up with customers regarding products and/or services

Answer questions about product features and benefits

Traveling to potential customers to deliver or sell merchandise or services

Distribute product samples or literature that details products or services

Stock carts or stands; set up and display merchandise for customers

Loading and unloading merchandise/materials from truck

Inventory and maintaining product on truck

Maintaining trip logs

Lifting up to 50 pounds, frequently.

QUALIFICATIONS:

CDL with class B/air brakes or the ability to obtain a CDL

Hard working, personable and organized

Must be 21 years old to drive across state lines

Previous sales experience is preferred but not required

Must be willing to work some overnights (same nights every week)
