Position Overview:
We are seeking dynamic individuals to join our team as Solar Sales Consultants. As a Solar Sales Consultant, you will be stationed within Home Depot locations across Tempe, Scottsdale, and Phoenix. Your primary responsibility will be engaging with customers, promoting, and selling our solar energy solutions. This role offers the unique opportunity to work in an air-conditioned environment, representing Home Depot Solar with a branded polo and badge.
Responsibilities:
- Proactively engage with customers walking by Home Depot to educate them about solar energy solutions offered by Kumquat Solar.
- Build rapport with customers and identify their needs to effectively present solar options that align with their requirements and preferences.
- Utilize calendar booking applications, such as Calendly, to efficiently schedule appointments with interested customers.
- Collaborate with Home Depot staff to ensure a seamless customer experience and maximize sales opportunities.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Kumquat Solar's product offerings, pricing, and promotions.
- Complete necessary paperwork and documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
- Fluent Spanish language skills are advantageous for engaging with a diverse customer base.
Requirements:
- Previous sales or customer service experience is preferred.
- Proficiency in using calendar booking applications.
- Fluency in Spanish is considered advantageous.
- Willingness to undergo sales training provided by Kumquat Solar.
- Ability to pass background checks required by Home Depot.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated with a desire to excel in a commission-based environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation:
This position is commission-only, with expectations of earning between $3,000 to $7,000 per sale. There is room for growth within the company, with opportunities to advance to a sales closer role based on performance and aptitude.
