We are seeking several experienced teachers to join our team! You will educate students at the first, non-denominational private school in Las Vegas, Nevada. We offer a traditional environment, with state-of-the art facilities and resources to support the finest educators in the Las Vegas Valley. Responsibilities: * Manage and educate students in a classroom setting * Implement the curriculum through instructional activities that engage students in meaningful learning experiences * Develop engaging lesson plans * Provide a positive learning environment that facilitates student success * Maintain positive relationships with students and parents * Collaborate with peers to improve instructional practices * Document and share student grades and evaluations * Maintain the health and safety of all students Qualifications: * Bachelor's Degree required, Master's preferred * 3+ years of successful teaching experience * Successfully pass state and federal criminal background checks and unprofessional conduct inquiries * Strong classroom management skills * Must have a valid teaching license * Ability to build rapport with students * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Strong leadership qualities * Strong work ethic * The ability to work successfully with a team We are looking for the following positions: * Full-time, self-contained 1st Grade Teacher * Full-time, self-contained 2nd Grade Teacher * Elementary School Spanish Teacher Gr. 1-5 (must be fluent in Spanish and English) * Middle School Art Teacher (Grades 6 and 7) * Middle School Math/Computer Teacher (Grade 6) Positions are for Fall 2023 Salary DOE but we have very competitive compensation and great benefits.
