    We are seeking a Licensed Creative Arts Therapist (LCAT) to join our team. The LCAT will provide psychotherapy and counseling services to individuals, families, and children. This position requires expertise in special education, diagnostic evaluation, research, and mental health counseling. The ideal candidate will have experience working with individuals on the autism spectrum and possess knowledge of psychopharmacology.

    Responsibilities:

    • Conduct individual and group therapy sessions using creative arts therapies such as art, music, drama, or dance

    • Provide counseling services to children, adolescents, adults, and families

    • Perform diagnostic evaluations to assess clients' mental health needs

    • Develop treatment plans based on clients' goals and needs

    • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients

    • Conduct research related to creative arts therapies and contribute to the field's knowledge base

    • Stay up-to-date with current therapeutic techniques and best practices

    • Maintain accurate and confidential client records

    Qualifications:

    • Master's degree in Creative Arts Therapy or related field

    • Valid license as a Creative Arts Therapist (LCAT)

    • Experience in psychotherapy and counseling, preferably with children and families

    • Knowledge of special education principles and practices

    • Familiarity with chronic pain counseling techniques

    • Proficiency in diagnostic evaluation using tools such as ICD-9 codes

    • Strong understanding of mental health counseling theories and techniques

    • Knowledge of psychopharmacology and its impact on mental health treatment

    • Ability to work effectively with individuals on the autism spectrum
