    DESCRIPTION: The LCSW/LPC will be directly supervised by the Director and shall provide direct supervision to all Day Treatment Counselors. The LCSW/ will be appointed by the Executive Director and his/her designated substitute.

    SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES : Supervise Counselors and the service plans they provide such as counseling, treatment supervisions, service plans, and oversight for case narratives and discharges. • Ensure that all services provided by Counselors are of the highest quality and that proper documentation is maintained. • Provides in-service training for Counselors and recommends training to the Executive Director. • Identify areas for improvement and addition of services to the Clinical Director. • Conduct random school and site visits to ensure counselors are meeting the requirements of the service plan • Monitor the Clinicians in the development and implementation of service plans. • Ensures that training needs and certifications are maintained and current for Counselors. • Approve and conduct assessments in the absence of the Clinician. SKILLS:

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

    • The LCSW/LPC, shall have a Master’s Degree in Human Services from an accredited college or university, as well as three (3) years’ experience in providing casework services to children and their families and possess a license as a professional therapist or social worker. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required. • Must submit to and receive satisfactory results from a criminal background investigation and a registry check by the Department of Social Services. • First Aid, CPR, and Behavior Management certifications are required. • A valid driver’s license, current copy of DMV driving record, a copy of the declaration page of automobile insurance is required. • References are required.
