Part-time Live-in Superintendent

Job Summary We are seeking a part-time, live-in superintendent to maintain grounds of our Condominium's common areas and report to the Condominium's management and board of directors.

Compensation: The super is compensated with a rent-free 1-bedroom (750 sq ft) apartment in our condominium, which is located in one of the most desirable locations of Northeast Yonkers at 717 Tuckahoe Rd. A monthly utility credit is also given. No salary is offered as this is only a part time position.

Work Hours: This position offers a flexible work schedule as the bulk of the super's duties can be performed at the super's convenience. The amount of work hours per week can vary depending on seasonal requirements but are about 15 hours on average.

Primary Duties: • Seasonal yard work of Condo's common grounds all year round: (Mow lawn, trim hedges, blow/bag leaves, clear walkways of snow) • Put out recycling for collection twice per week • Perform minor repairs in common areas as needed (replacing light bulbs etc) • Walking grounds weekly and inspecting common areas for damages • Check and record boiler oil levels weekly • Report any hazards or issues to management

Skills • Must be able to operate and maintain a lawn mower, leaf blower, hedge trimmer, Weed Wacker, snow blower and other basic power tools. • General building knowledge, and communicational skills • A background in construction, plumbing, landscaping, or electrical is preferred but not required
