Position Overview:
Do you have a desire to work with individuals and families in need of support?? We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our outpatient mental health clinic. We are dedicated to helping and giving back to the community and those in need. The therapist will provide therapeutic services to clients, utilizing evidence-based practices to support their mental health and well-being. This role requires a strong commitment to ethical practice, clinical excellence, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. *This is a hybrid position.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct initial assessments and ongoing evaluations to determine clients' mental health needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions using various therapeutic modalities and interventions.
Collaborate with clients to set achievable goals and monitor progress toward those goals.
Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals and community resources as needed.
Participate in case conferences and treatment team meetings to discuss client cases and treatment strategies.
Provide crisis intervention services and support to clients in acute distress.
Stay informed about current research, best practices, and developments in the field of mental health therapy.
Adhere to licensing regulations, ethical guidelines, and clinic policies and procedures.
Engage in ongoing professional development activities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Psychologist (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in the state of practice.
Master's or doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
Experience providing individual, couples and/or group therapy in a clinical setting, preferably in outpatient mental health.
Knowledge and proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic techniques and interventions.
Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport with clients and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic clinical environment.
Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards of practice.
Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and basic computer skills.
