INTERNSHIP SUMMARY:
L’Occitane is seeking a current student pursuing a major in Human Resources, Instructional Design or a related field to join us as an intern. The intern will gain general knowledge in various aspects of Learning and Development through hands-on experience on topics such as content development and design, virtual learning and needs analysis. The intern will also strengthen interpersonal skills and cultivate relationships through regular partnerships with the Retail and Brand Marketing departments. The ideal candidate must be able to commit at least 28 hours/week.
INTERNSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist and develop skills in content creation, design and management
Proofread and edit training support materials across multiple fields of the business (Retail, Support Center)
Assist in the design, development and adaptation of learning tools for content related to people development, products and sales
Help create training materials such as learning games and monthly campaign coaching tools
Research Retail beauty trends, keep up to date and continue to learn and identify best practices to reflect in training materials and promote to the Retail field
Assist and develop skills in needs analysis
Develop surveys using SurveyMonkey to better understand ongoing and changing needs across fields of business (Retail, Support Center)
Develop live, interactive surveys using Mentimeter to collect training session feedback
Aggregate, analyze and present qualitative data to better understand needs and dissect feedback for continuous improvement of training materials and facilitation
Assist and develop skills in virtual learning
Schedule ongoing virtual sessions using Zoom
Deploy training session invites to targeted populations using Microsoft Outlook
Follow up on communication, registration and learner tracking
Moderate virtual training sessions alongside L&D team member facilitator
All other duties or projects as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION
Working towards a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
EXPERIENCE
Concentration in Instructional Design or Human Resources is preferred
