    LPN needed, the qualified Nurse for this position will be responsible for teaching Certified Nursing Assistants in the American Red Cross Hybrid Online Program. The instructor will help CNA students build knowledge and clinical skills aimed at passing state licensing exam and applying those skills in caring for patients. Must have Georgia Train the Trainer Certifcate. LPN applicants who possess clinical experience, a thorough knowledge of long term and skilled care are encouraged to apply. Education experience would be preferred. Classes are taught on Friday, Saturday and Sunday x 2 weeks. Must be able to take students to clinicals the third week on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. This is a great opportunity for retired nurses or nurses looking to make extra income . Job Duties

    Provides instruction in a classroom setting.

    Evaluates and documents student's progress in competency through observation, assessment, and testing.

    Monitors class attendance, and proctors exams, and ensures student completion of required assignments.

    Prepares and maintains records accurately and in a timely manner.

    Establishes clear objectives for all lessons, units, and projects and communicates those objectives to students.

    Adapts teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students' varying needs, abilities, and interests.

    Observes and evaluates students' work to determine progress and make suggestions for improvement.

    Instructs students individually and in groups, using various teaching methods, such as lectures, discussions, and demonstrations.

    Utilizes technical expertise to complete all assigned tasks with an emphasis on quality and timeliness.

    Builds and maintains a cooperative working relationship with others.

    Attends and actively collaborates with others at all scheduled meetings and trainings.

    Works independently and collaboratively with others with minimal supervision.

    Ensures that work adheres to local, state, and federal governmental regulations, and other applicable rules and requirements.

    Qualifications

    Active, valid GA nursing license within the state

    Experience working with an aging population desired

    Comfortability working independently and within a team

    The ability to multitask and work well under pressure
