Job Summary
We are seeking a Nurse to join our team. In this role, you will make a difference in the lives of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities by enhancing their quality of life. Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living, small group activities and crafts, hygiene needs, dispensing medication, leading community outings and volunteer opportunities and helping people Live Life to the Fullest.
Responsibilities
Responsible for developing and implementation of health-related tasks and assisting with program curriculum, learning exercises, center activities, community activities.
Transporting individuals to our centers and to community outings
Lead small group and skill building activities
Documenting on goals and individual progress
Provide companionship
Assist with mobility, hygiene and meal prep
Assisting with medication
Light cleaning activities
Qualifications
Licensed Practical Nurse required, 5 years professional experience in the Human Services, I/DD field
First aid and CPR-certified
A commitment to providing excellent care and customer service.
Ability to adhere to all health and safety guidelines
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, creativity and enthusiasm
Ability to lift up to fifty pounds
