    Position Type: Part-Time

    Hours Available: Saturday 8am-5pm; Sunday 1pm-9pm

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in Hackensack, New Jersey.

    Job Summary:

    As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) in our home healthcare team, you will be responsible for delivering personalized care to a patient with specific medical needs, including tracheostomy (trach) and gastrostomy tube (G-tube) management. Your role will involve working closely with the patient and their family to ensure optimal health and comfort. You will also be responsible for monitoring the patient’s oxygen levels during the night and responding to any medical needs that arise.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Provide high-quality nursing care to the patient in their home setting.

    Manage and care for tracheostomy (trach) and gastrostomy tube (G-tube) sites, ensuring proper hygiene and function.

    Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the patient’s physician.

    Monitor and manage the patient’s oxygen therapy during the night.

    Conduct routine assessments and document the patient’s condition and progress.

    Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including doctors and therapists, to coordinate care.

    Educate the patient and their family on care techniques and health management.

    Respond promptly and effectively to any changes in the patient’s condition or emergencies.

    Qualifications:

    Valid and active LPN or RN license in the state of New Jersey.

    Proven experience with tracheostomy and gastrostomy tube care.

    Experience with oxygen therapy and night-time monitoring is highly desirable.

    Strong clinical skills and the ability to work independently.

    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
