Salary Range: $43.99.00- $58.66/hr.

Position Requirements:
- Current LPN/ RN License in the state where employed. With no restrictions on the VA registry.
- Two forms of identification (Driver's License and Social Security card)
- COVID Vaccination
- Most recent Negative TB BLOOD TEST/ 2-STEP PPD OR Chest X-ray (within the last 12 months)
- CPR (BLS), ACLS, PALS Verification (Accepted from American Heart Association, American Red Cross, American Safety and Health Institute, ONLINE CPR IS NOT ACCEPTABLE)
- 2 MMR vaccinations OR Positive Titer for MMR (this can be found at your local health department)
- 2 Varivax vaccinations (Varicella-Chicken Pox) OR Positive Titer (this can be found at your local health department)
- Flu Vaccine
- Hep B (clinical areas only)
- Virginia State Police Check (We will provide the location)
- 1+ years of LPN/RN experience
- At least 1 year of previous experience in a Long-Term Care and/or Assisted Living setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Reliable transportation
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Administer medication and treatments as instructed by a physician or RN
- Monitor patients' vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and respiratory rate
- Assist with medical procedures
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as social workers and physical therapists, to develop and implement patient care plans
- Educate patients and their families about their medications, treatments, and healthcare needs
- Perform basic nursing tasks, such as wound care, catheterization, and IV administration
- Document patient medical histories, symptoms, and treatments in electronic medical records
Working Conditions:
The LPN/RN will be required to work in a healthcare facility, including hospitals, nursing homes, and assisted living facilities. The job may require the LPN/RN to lift and move patients or heavy equipment. Evening, weekend, and holiday work may be required.
