Job Title: Part-Time Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) - 11 PM to 7 AM Shift

Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our healthcare team for a part-time position primarily during the night shift from 11 PM to 7 AM. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients, ensuring their safety and comfort while adhering to established standards and protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide direct patient care including administering medications, treatments, and medical procedures as prescribed by the physician.
- Monitor and assess patients’ conditions, reporting any changes to the supervising nurse or physician.
- Assist with patient hygiene, mobility, and basic daily living activities to enhance patient comfort and safety.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation in accordance with facility policies and regulations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care and effective communication among staff members.
- Educate patients and their families on health management, medication administration, and other relevant topics to promote optimal care outcomes.
- Adhere to infection control protocols, maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
- Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and professional development activities as required.
- Support the nursing team in administrative tasks and duties as necessary.

Qualifications:

- Current and valid LVN license in California.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred, with familiarity in long-term care, rehabilitation, or acute care settings beneficial.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required; additional certifications may be advantageous.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and families.
- Capable of working independently and efficiently as part of a team.
- Must be able to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to providing empathetic and patient-centered care.

Working Conditions:

- Part-time, night shift from 11 PM to 7 AM, including weekends and holidays as required.
- Physical demands include lifting, standing for extended periods, assisting patients with mobility, and performing various clinical tasks.
