    Job Description

    A well-established non-profit behavioral health agency in NYC seeks full time LCSW- level clinical supervisor/program manager to supervise the daily operations of a growing MH outpatient program. Program manager will provide administrative support and oversee the hiring and training of staff members, liaise with patients and healthcare professionals, coordinate patient care plans and supervise clinicians.

    KNOWLEDGE:

    • Must hold Masters’ Degree in Social Work, LCSW.
    • Must have five years’ clinical experience with an emphasis in working with clients who have mental health, and/or dually diagnosed disease disorders.
    • Must be well versed in OMH requirements regarding operation of an Article 31 facility.
    • Must be able to construct a corrective action plan to immediately address any deficiencies.

     SKILLS:

    • Ability to communicate effectively with oversight agencies, insurance providers, psychiatrists, therapists, and patients from a variety of educational backgrounds and cultures.
    • Solid writing skills. 
    • Ability to create and execute the progressive discipline procedures when needed and construct a performance improvement plan for Program staff.
    • Outstanding communication skills needed.
    • Comfort with computer technology and ability to learn applications needed for recordkeeping and generating reports.

     ACCOUNTABILITY:

    Strict compliance with OMH requirements for operation of a NYS licensed Article 31 facility. Coordinate with Billing the program’s client billing process to ensure billing is completed and reimbursements recorded accurately for the Program. Ensure everyone employed by the facility has the appropriate credentials and clearances. Safeguard the physical safety of personnel, patients and guests to the facility. Communicate all clinic and personnel issues or concerns to the Chief Program Officer or the Director of Administrative Services on a timely basis.
