La Costa Animal Hospital has been serving the people and pets of Carlsbad and San Diego area for over 35 years! Carlsbad, located on the Coast of Southern California, is a good-sized city in San Diego which is approximately 87 miles south of Los Angeles and 35 miles north of San Diego. Guided by DR. MICHAEL SCHATZLE, we are able to consistently deliver the highest quality veterinary medical, dental, surgical, and diagnostic care available. We are an American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) accredited hospital, and have been since 1988. We are also a Silver-Level Cat Friendly Practice, as determined by the American Association of Feline Practitioners (AAFP). To complement our doctors, we have a team of experienced support staff and a strong leadership group who work closely together to deliver the best care to each pet and pet parent!
