    Job Description

    JOB SUMMARY

    The role is responsible for repairing and maintaining any equipment or processes in the facility.

    JOB FUNCTIONS

    Essential Functions

    • Performs all preventative and reactive maintenance on lab equipment and building, including complex electronic and mechanical equipment.
    • Maintains all maintenance-related software programs such as PM logs, material acquisition logs, etc.
    • Secures machine parts at the lowest cost.
    • Communicates with various Help Desks (foreign and domestic) to fix various machines.
    • Fabricates systems and machines to make production easier and of better quality.
    • Trains new Maintenance associates and Production associates according to direction from the Maintenance Supervisor.
    • Communicates and interfaces with Production associates and Production leadership to optimize the interaction between departments.
    • Follows all safety rules and protocols rigorously.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Education Level

    High School Diploma or equivalent. Required

    Work Experience

    • 4-6 years of experience in the maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of complex equipment (Electronics, CNC-type equipment). Preferred
    • 2-4 years of experience maintaining Optical manufacturing equipment. Required

    Additional Skills - Includes Computer/Software Skills

    Description

    • Must be able to read and write in English. Required
    • Ability to read and interpret both American and European electrical and electronic diagramming and schematics. Required
    • PLC programming a plus. Preferred
