Job Description

• Onboard new equipment for SDPC and put on an annual PM plan (ProCal or LAMP depending)
• Onboard new freezers from start to finish
• Decommission equipment and send to asset recovery when needed (including removing from SAP and other equipment dashboards like ProCal and LAMP)
• Assist with the scheduling of LAMP vendors for equipment services
• Help identify new locations for freezers and help scientists find freezer storage space for their samples when needed
• Track and provide metrics for SDPC equipment (items coming due and overdue items) as well as freezer maintenance metrics
• Support the freezer inventory initiative
• Technical writing of business procedures, training modules, etc.
• Submit work orders and follow up on departmental work orders through scheduling meetings with the planners
• Starting to learn the Sterile Supplies side of things and will be running a monthly meeting with all group representatives starting in a few weeks
• Schedule equipment as well as tracking Lab Managed equipment (pipettes, scale check weights, etc.)
• Keep track of freezer thaws as well as WPMS contact list updates

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry, or other related degree concentration
• At least 1 year of relevant industry experience: following SOPs, Process improvement, Compliance Knowledge, Presentation Experience
• Highly prefer Quality Compliance knowledge, Deviation Management, and Technical Writing experience
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

Additional Information

Position is Full Time, Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm with overtime as needed. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of West Point , PA **** are encouraged to apply.
