    The Role:

    We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Lab Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of laboratory tasks to support our semiconductor design and development projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, with a passion for learning new skills and working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with industry experts.

    As a Lab Technician, you will be responsible for supporting the design and testing of analog/mixed-signal ICs, including testing and debugging of IC prototypes, development and maintenance of test setups and equipment, and documentation of test results. You will work closely with our design and applications engineering team to ensure that our products meet the highest quality standards and are delivered on schedule.

    Responsibilities:

    • Design and layout PCBs for Test and debug of analog/mixed-signal IC prototypes, including testing and characterization of circuit performance.
    • Develop and maintain test setups and equipment, including selection and procurement of appropriate test equipment, and design and construction of test fixtures and setups.
    • Document test results and provide feedback to design engineers on performance and reliability of ICs.
    • Collaborate with design engineers to ensure that ICs meet product specifications and quality standards.
    • Support product development efforts by providing input on test strategies and plans.
    • Maintain laboratory equipment and supplies, ensuring that equipment is properly calibrated and in good working condition.
    • Ensure compliance with safety procedures and regulations in the laboratory.
    • Handle shipping and logistics for samples / demo boards and devices, as needed.

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Minimum 5-years experience with an Associate degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience in analog/mixed-signal IC testing and design.
    • Familiarity with standard analog/mixed-signal test equipment, including oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and power supplies.
    • Experience with IC test methodologies and procedures, including test plan development and execution, data analysis, and reporting.
    • Ability to read and understand circuit schematics and datasheets.
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or in a team environment.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Familiarity with PCB and Layout tools is a plus.
    • Position is located at our San Jose HQ Office.
