We are conveniently located at Walnut Hill & 75 in the prestigious NorthPark area Specialties include: Orthopedics, Spine, General Surgery, Pain Management, Urology, GI/Endoscopy, Plastic, and Podiatry surgeries. Managed by United Surgical Partners International & Joint Commission Accredited.

    We are currently seeking a Lab Tech to work Monday - Friday 10a - 6:30p and rotating weekends.

    • Phlebotomy duties.
    • Routine laboratory procedures related to preparing human biological samples for microbiological, hematological, and chemical analysis.
    • Performs routine and stat laboratory testing, including (but not necessarily limited to) CBC, BMP, CMP, PT, PTT, UA, PFA, rapid flu, rapid strep, occult blood, hCG, and hemoglobin A1c testing.
    • Scanning of documents into patients’ charts in Cerner.
    • Other duties as needed by laboratory director or supervisor.

    Required Skills

    · High School diploma or equivalent

    · Associate degree or higher in medical laboratory technology; or bachelor's in medical technology, clinical lab science or related science

    · ASCP or AMT registration as an MT/MLT/CLS preferred

    · At least one year experience in Laboratory setting

    · Phlebotomy certification or eligible preferred.

    · Knowledge of governmental and regulating policies/standards.

    · Basic computer skills.

    · Ability to detect color and color changes.

    · BLS by AHA or obtain within 30 days from hire date

    Required Experience
