Large managed care company is seeking a Laboratory Director to manage and direct the laboratory personnel and performance of high complexity tests and must be eligible to be an operator of a laboratory. This position is only 4-6 hours a month.

WORK LOCATION: 900 Airport Fwy, Hurst, TX  76054

PAY: $120/hr

CONTRACT DATES: 3/1/25 - 12/31/25

HOURS: 4-6 hours a month only!

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Review each testing process used in your laboratory in order to identify errors or potential problems that could result in errors, review corrective action for effectiveness and resolution of error in future
• Review new/changed or otherwise non-standard workflow test systems performance, (preanalytical, analytic, and postanalytical phases) to ensure appropriate function for your patient population
• Review physical and environmental conditions of the laboratory are adequate and appropriate for the testing performed: safe from physical, chemical, and biological hazards and safety and biohazard requirements are followed

QUALIFICATIONS

• Doctoral degree in a laboratory science. Other acceptable degrees are biological or chemical degrees. 
• Current board certification by a board approved by HHS AND have 2 years of experience directing or supervising high complexity testing
  AND have earned at least 20 CE credits in laboratory practice addressing director responsibilities
• Licensed MD/DO/DPM, AND certified in anatomic or clinical pathology or Licensed MD/DO/DPM AND laboratory training or experience consisting of 2 years of directing or supervising high complexity testing
  AND have earned at least 20 CE credits in laboratory practice addressing director responsibilities
