Lakeshore’s team is growing, and we are currently searching for a dynamic HR Business Partner to align business objectives with our employees and management on our distribution center campus. Reporting to our Director of HR, you will create partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflects our business objectives.     A day in the office looks like this:

    • Consulting with business management, providing HR guidance when appropriate
    • Working closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention
    • Managing and resolving employee relations issues; conducting effective, thorough, and objective investigations
    • Providing day-to-day performance management guidance to business management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions)
    • Engaging in performance management process to ensure internal talent is developed effectively, and that gaps are appropriately identified and addressed
    • Participating in evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure success; following up to ensure training objectives are met
    • Leveraging workforce analytics to execute HR dashboards, ad hoc reports, and employee engagement surveys to identify HR trends
    • Providing guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning, organizational design, and succession planning
    • Integrating and partnering with COEs in the Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, HR Operations, Legal & Compliance, and Benefit teams to implement solutions to best find solutions for associates
    • Providing HR policy guidance and interpretation
    • Executing separation/exit conversations as needed
    • Maintaining knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring compliance, partnering with the legal department and internal resources
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Got the skills and experience? Here’s what we’re looking for:

    • Candidates must have prior experience in a distribution center
    • 2+ years of Human Resources Business Partner experience
    • 3+ years of experience resolving employee relations issues
    • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
    • Project management and change management experience
    • Working knowledge of multiple human resources disciplines, including employee relations, diversity, performance management, and federal and state respective employment laws
    • Ability to acquire a thorough understanding of the organization’s hierarchy, jobs, qualifications, compensation practices and the administrative practices related to those factors
    • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
    • Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal and customer service skills, as well as strong organizational skills and attention to detail
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
    • SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential preferred
    • Fluent in English and Spanish a plus
    • Position will be located within the distribution center so 2+ years distribution experience is preferred
