    Land Acquisition Coordinator

    Bothell, WA

    Our client, a well-known residential developer focused on building high-quality homes, is seeking a Land Acquisition Coordinator to join their tight-knit team. The Land Acquisition Coordinator will manage Homeowner Associations (HOAs) from establishment to third-party handoff, coordinate land and lot acquisitions, and provide administrative support to the Land Development department. This role ensures the seamless execution of contracts, documentation, feasibility tracking, and compliance with all relevant regulations.

    Land Acquisition Coordinator Responsibilities:

    • Establish, maintain, and transition HOAs, ensuring regulatory compliance.
    • Prepare and review HOA documents, including CC&Rs, bylaws, and financial disclosures.
    • Manage HOA insurance, records, budgets, and Board transitions.
    • Serve as the primary HOA contact for financial, legal, and administrative matters.
    • Oversee HOA setup for new communities, including contracts, insurance, and disclosures.
    • Track and update HOA dues and financial records.
    • Track feasibility reports and coordinate land acquisition documentation.
    • Work with attorneys, title companies, and corporate teams on agreements and transactions.
    • Maintain critical reports and key deadlines for land/lot purchases.
    • Process earnest money transactions and assist with phasing plans.
    • Submit and track environmental reports and vendor questionnaires.
    • Maintain legal and environmental records, including permits and surveys.
    • Manage key tracking systems and internal documentation.

    Land Acquisition Coordinator Qualifications:

    • At least 2 years of experience in an administrative, coordinating, or planning role.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or a related field preferred.
    • Knowledge of HOAs, residential development, or construction highly preferred.
    • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and database management.
    • Ability to travel for site visits as needed.
    • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

    Compensation: $60,000 - $70,000 base pay with $5,000-$10,000 annual bonus
