We are partnered with a reputable civil engineering firm based in the Denver area that is seeking a Land Survey Technician to join their team. Land Survey Technician and play a crucial role in delivering high-quality surveying services. We're seeking a motivated and experienced professional with a strong foundation in land surveying principles and practices
Responsibilities:
- Prepare surveys (ALTA/NSPS, Boundary Layout, Plats, Construction) using AutoCAD Civil3D
- Reduce and process field data to generate accurate contours and manage CAD surface models
- Create Legal Descriptions and Survey Exhibits for clients
- Develop and manage construction layout calculations for field staff
- Conduct project research, including Title Commitment review
- Communicate with project teams, manage project files, and ensure timely completion of projects
Requirements:
- College degree in surveying and geomatics, or related field, is preferred
- Holds (or has the ability to obtain within six-months) a Survey-In-Training (SIT) from the State of Colorado
- Minimum three years of relevant experience with AutoCAD Civil3D specifically in survey projects is required
- Ability read and understand Architectural, Structural and Engineering Site Plans
- Familiar with Trimble surveying equipment (VRS/GPS, S5 & S7 Total Stations), level and various other surveying equipment
Salary: $25.00 - $35.00/hr. DOE + Comprehensive benefits package
