Qualifications
Demonstrates experience and strong knowledge of survey techniques and procedures
Good judgment and organizational skills
Professional Land Surveyor License a plus not required
Valid Driver’s license
Ability to stand, climb and walk continuously during an 8-hour period
Ability to perform strenuous work in a varying climate (heat and cold, etc)
Must have good computer skills and be able to use survey related software
Good verbal and written communication skills
Working knowledge of AutoCad Civil 3D

Responsibilities
Successful candidate will be responsible for selecting and applying standard surveying techniques in the field and office to plan, organize, and execute land surveying projects
Receive instructions on specific assignments, objectives and complex features
Performs a variety of in-office and field tasks associated with land surveying projects obtained by the company
Broad understanding and experience for operating surveying equipment, such as Total Stations, Data Collectors, GPS RTK & Static Observations
Accurately calculates and records field data
Reviews job specifications and plans fieldwork methods
Review and download field data
Prepare field notes and draw sketches of existing site conditions
Prepare detailed daily job reports and discuss projects with supervisor on daily basis
Maintain and troubleshoot complex instrumentation
Drafting and editing of surveys using AutoCAD Civil 3D
Perform other like duties as assigned
Occasional soils testing
