Halfaker has an opening for a PRINCIPAL BUSINESS ANALYST to join our talented, dynamic team. The key responsibilities for this position include:

• Conduct analysis of business, functional, technical, activities, and events
• Responsible for working with users and customers to document and strategize for process improvements for current business processes (business process reengineering)
• Responsible for providing market research on conditions that impact the overall operational efficiency of an organization
• Responsible for identifying symptoms for process improvement
• Must have deep knowledge of process and risks and record, monitor and track risks and potential mitigations

Required Skills

• Must have significant experience with the analysis of business, functional, technical, activities, and events
• Excellent oral communication, writing and presentation skills
• Highly motivated and ability to take initiative
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent attention to detail
• Highly analytical; proven problem-solving abilities
• Willingness and enthusiasm to learn new skills, new client environments, and grow domain expertise
• Ability to conduct independent research to lead or support the resolution of complex questions and issues

Required Experience

Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems, Business or related scientific/technical discipline

• 10 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education
