Flexion is currently seeking an EDI Implementation Scecialist for out client in Minneapolis, MN. The EDI Implementation specialist works among a team of professionals responsible for developing standardized solutions for our client's customers. They will research, isolate, diagnose, resolve and follow-up on problems for customer change events. When necessary, they will also manage escalated events as appropriate.
Essential Responsibilities / Duties
- Install, upgrade, test, and configure systems as part of completing implementation project.
- Consult with clients to analyze and verify operational needs, and to understand clients' business objectives and goals.
- Keep customer and other stakeholders informed of project progress.
- Perform post-sale initial technical implementation of technology products.
- Conduct tasks and assignments as directed
- Work under moderate supervision with some latitude for independent judgment.
- Track progress of Implementation project(s). Ensure deadlines are met and scheduling issues resolved
Required Skills
Minimum Requirements
- Some post-secondary education and 2-3 years of relevant experience.
- Specialist I – 1 - 2 years of relevant experience
- Specialist II – 3+ years of relevant experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Proven fundamental project coordination skills.
- Ability to apply, test, and re-configure data rules to produce desired results
- Experience working with MS Office, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook and Internet browsers.
Preferred Experience
- Familiarity with XML highly desired
- Prior technical or project management experience a plus
- General understanding or prior experience with e-commerce concepts or Web based EDI services a plus
