    We are seeking several Patient Engagement Specialists for Las Vegas, NV facility.

    Summary

    Our most successful candidates will be energetic, engaging and deeply compassionate. They will be organized, practical, proactive and responsive. They’ll be authentic and passionate, able to meet patients where they are, hearing them, and responding with grace and directness. They will be able to say what’s so while conveying compassion and concern, putting emphasis on the patient, letting them know that “we care about YOU.” They will have a high EQ, be both people and process savvy and be discerning while not judgmental. They’ll be people who flow easily with what others call stress while being on call at a moment’s notice to meet people during an important time in their lives.

    The most successful candidates will be optimistic and realistic, direct and spacious. They’ll know how to hold the aim of progress not perfection and ideally will be able to provide a stabilizing calm or offer a robustly playful presence. The most successful candidates will have some capacity with being entrepreneurial, nimble and adaptable, regularly “thinking on their feet.” They’ll enjoy working independently and collaboratively, as part of a larger care team. They will be comfortable with addressing differences and conflict while simultaneously also humble and eager to receive and integrate feedback. They’ll bring great care, integrity, and customer service to all they do. They’ll be able to maintain calmness and composure during high stress situations.     Responsibilities

    The Patient Engagement Specialist monitors & provides accountability to patients in treatment and embarking on their road to recovery. They are the main staff point of contact for all patients, carrying out activities ranging from light fitness classes to daily lectures on topics pertinent to recovery. They monitor patients regularly, resolving conflicts and responding to critical situations. They interact regularly with other clinical staff to aid in the recovery process. Our Patient Engagement Specialists:

    • Demonstrate our values and mission statement

    • Specialize in one-on-one patient engagement and retention tactics

    • Monitor patients at all times, diffuse conflicts, ensure patient compliance with treatment protocols, and involve other clinical staff as necessary

    • Facilitate non-therapy groups and lead patients in light daily fitness classes and enrichment activities including guided meditation, community building and free time

    • Attend and supervise trips to off-campus 12-step recovery meetings and enrichment activities with outside vendors

    • Monitor patient movement and maintain presence in “courtyard” area; monitor meals in the meal room, including enforcement of portion control and putting aside plates for those not feeling well enough to physically attend meals

    • Lead community meetings to discuss various aspects of treatments or to resolve potential conflicts between patients

    • Perform some daily facility cleaning duties

    • In absence of the Van Driver, drive patients to off-campus meetings and events

    • Perform all other tasks as assigned by supervisor

    • Work as a highly dependable, independent member of the treatment team

    • Work cooperatively with all levels of employees and management

    • Are committed team players willing to learn new skills

    • Reports directly to the Patient Engagement Manager

    Qualifications

    • HS, GED or equivalent experience

    • 1+ year(s) of experience working with Substance Abuse populations strongly preferred

    • Crisis Intervention Training strongly preferred

    • Personal interest or experience in fitness preferred

    • Valid, unrestricted driver’s license

    • Clean driving record for at least 3 years

    • Commitment to drug-free lifestyle and responsible alcohol use is essential

    • Personal passion or interest in substance abuse issues strongly preferred

    • Authorization to work in the US is required

    OPEN POSITIONS FOR PATIENT ENGAGEMENT SPECIALISTS AT OUR LAS VEGAS FACILITY:

    SCHEDULES:

    FULL TIME:

    Monday through Thursday and every other weekend - 7:00am to 3:30pm

    Tuesday through Friday and every other weekend - 3:00pm to 11:30pm

    Fri (7-330p) Mon (3-11:30) and Weekends (weekend shifts alternate every other weekend between 7a to 3:30p and 3-11:30p)

    Monday through Thursday and every other weekend - 11:00pm to 7:30am

    Tuesday through Friday and every other weekend - 11:00pm to 7:30am

    Compensation for this non-exempt position is $13.50-$14.50/hr + Benefits (Vision, Medical, Dental, Life, 401K, Paid Time Off, Family Leave).
