    Position Overview

    The Landscape Architect / Project Manager will play a dual role in design development and project management. This position focuses on high-value residential projects ($900K–$1M+) and involves managing field operations to ensure seamless execution. The ideal candidate will combine design expertise, technical proficiency, and project management skills to lead transformative projects while maintaining strong client relationships.

    Key Responsibilities

    Design & Client Engagement

    • Develop and present high-quality, custom landscape designs for affluent residential clients.
    • Use advanced tools like Lumien, Dynascape, SketchUp, and AutoCAD to bring design concepts to life.
    • Build and maintain long-term client relationships, ensuring satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
    • Navigate permitting and compliance requirements, including local regulations and high-end neighborhood standards.

    Project Management

    • Oversee project handoffs from design to field operations, ensuring clarity and efficiency.
    • Manage contractor solicitation, project timelines, and budgets to ensure seamless execution.
    • Leverage advanced estimating tools to develop detailed project scopes and cost estimates.
    • Ensure compliance with local landscape and hardscape construction standards.

    Collaboration & Leadership

    • Partner with the current Landscape Architect during the transition period.
    • Mentor junior team members, fostering professional development and growth.
    • Collaborate with account managers, foremen, and subcontractors to streamline project execution.

    Qualifications

    Education & Licensing

    • Licensed Landscape Architect (stamp required).

    Experience

    • 5+ years in high-end residential landscape design and project management.
    • Strong background in hardscape construction and field operations preferred.

    Skills

    • Proficiency in Lumien, Dynascape, SketchUp, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Teams.
    • Exceptional time management, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
    • Strong client-facing and relationship-building expertise.
    • Thorough understanding of compliance requirements and construction processes.

    Compensation & Benefits

    • Total Compensation: $95,000 - $135,000 annually.
