Position Requirements

Landscape Construction Knowledge: Experience with all aspects of landscape construction, including but not limited to:

Planting: trees, shrubs, flowers, and groundcovers. Installing sod, scalping and seeding lawns.

Site Preparation: demo, grading and leveling, dump runs.

Irrigation: Expertise in troubleshooting and maintaining drip and sprinkler systems.

Lighting: Install, Repair and Maintenance of outdoor lighting for aesthetic and security purposes.

Plant Care: Understanding the needs of various plants, including shrubs, trees, flowers, and groundcovers.

(As Needed) Maintenance Duties: Capable of mowing lawns, removing debris from stairs and walkways, raking leaves, and edging sidewalks.

Equipment Operation: Proficient in operating landscaping equipment, including but not limited to:

Skid Steer, Mini Excavator

Mowers

Edgers

Chainsaws

Brush trimmers

Other hand tools

Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by interacting with clients professionally.

Dependability and Reliability:

Punctuality: Must consistently arrive on time as scheduled.

Appearance and Attitude: Maintain a clean appearance and a positive attitude towards both crew members and customers.

Direction: Ability to follow instructions from the superintendent and management.

Scheduling: Meet scheduling needs and document any additional or extra work completed.

Reporting: Complete daily timesheets and production reports.

Safety: Properly use and maintain safety and personal protective equipment.

Vehicle Operation:

Drive and maintain a company truck, ensuring it remains clean, safe, and organized.

Other Duties: Perform other duties as directed or assigned by management.

Physical Requirements & Working Environment

Overtime: Must be able to work overtime during busy seasons.

Heat Illness Awareness: Understand the risks of heat illness and take appropriate breaks for lunch and water.

Extreme Temperatures: Ability to work in extreme Arizona temperatures (100+ degrees during summer).

Physical Stamina: Must be able to lift and carry 50 to 60 lbs., and continuously bend, stoop, stand, and twist throughout the day.

Work Environment: Capable of working in a fast-paced environment and maintaining attendance for all scheduled shifts.

Eligibility Requirements

Driver’s License: A valid driver’s license and clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) are required for the Foreman position.

Experience: A minimum of 2 years of verifiable residential landscape experience is required.
