    Job Summary

    In this role, a crew leader oversees lawn mowing, clean-ups, mulching, trimming, general maintenance, pruning, trimming, fertilization, weed control, planting of trees/shrubs/flowers, and other similar tasks. The crew leader should also be able to drive the company vehicle as directed and operate various types of equipment/machinery associated with the previous tasks mentioned.

    The Crew Leader must be able to professionally handle client inquiries in person, providing clear and courteous communication. If an immediate solution is not available, they should assure the client that they will seek the necessary information and follow up in a timely manner.

    Responsibilities: Operations

    Review of machinery, and truck before and after work

    Mark a checklist of equipment and materials to take and return

    Protocol and instruction follow-up

    Maintenance, cleaning, and organization of truck and equipment

    Responsible for safety and maintenance of equipment and materials

    Administrative

    Weekly focus meeting

    Accident reports for truck and trailer

    Daily Reports

    Verify and follow through with service orders

    Clock in/ clock out

    Participation in company trainings

    Client Services

    Supervise quality of work

    Take before and after pictures

    Provide a personalized experience for clients with wide knowledge of work

    Crew

    Provide instructions for crew

    Responsible for teamwork and behavior

    Reporting of incidents at client property or during a job

    Inform admin if a crew member is sick

    Supervise the correct use of uniforms and appearance of crew members

    Take charge of filling and carrying thermals with water and ice for the team

    Compliance with work hours

    Qualifications:

    2+ years of experience as a landscaper/groundskeeper/gardener REQUIRED

    Previous Leadership experience or roles

    Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required

    Experience with Irrigation Systems

    Ability to drive truck connected to trailer (Valid Driver’s License)

    Strong Communication skills

    Ability to work in direct sunlight for extended periods of time

    Ability to bend, stoop, and twist continuously throughout the day

    Experience with the use of hand-held and power tools

    Must be able to climb ladders and stairs, comfortably lift 50+ pounds repetitively, and work on your feet for long periods of time

    Willing to work in all weather elements

    Compensation: $18-$20 per hour
