Landed designs, builds, and maintains residential landscapes in the Northern Virginia area. We have been partnering with residential homeowners to uncover, experience, and share the joy hidden in their outdoor spaces for more than 20 years.
We are looking for positive individuals who have a passion for working with residential clients to join our landscape design and sales team, selling between $3M to $4M+ annually.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead Generation and Prospecting:
Dedicate a portion of your week to identifying and pursuing new leads through building relationships with other vendors, cold calling, cold visits to properties, networking events, and leveraging your existing network.
Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activity, and the residential real estate market to identify new opportunities and refine your sales strategies.
Client Meetings, Presentations and Sales:
Meet with clients when convenient for them, including weekends.
Design landscape, hardscape and complete outdoor spaces/master plans using AutoCAD and other design software.
Estimate jobs in Landscape Management software (LMN).
Organize subcontractors for your projects.
Provide a complete and successful handoff to the production team, including complete construction documents and images to ensure smooth project execution.
Communicate with clients about their project through production, offering exceptional, responsive customer service.
Actively review your projects job costing, in terms of hours and material costs during build as well as post-build debrief, to ensure key indicators are met.
Achieve KPIs:
Sales Margin: Achieve an annual sales goal and gross margin on your projects.
Pipeline: Maintain a healthy pipeline of potential clients, with key indicators identified. Regularly review and update your sales pipeline, ensuring accurate tracking of leads, opportunities, and potential revenue.
Closing ration: Maintain a high closing ration so that qualified clients are consistently closed.
Client Satisfaction: Earn high levels of client satisfaction through proactive communication, education and responsiveness.
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
A degree in Landscape Architecture, Landscape Design, Hardscape Design, Construction, Horticulture, or related field is required.
Demonstrated sales and design experience for a minimum of 5 years.
Extensive knowledge of CAD-based drafting and other graphical skills, including but not limited to Autodesk AutoCad, Photoshop, and InDesign.
Knowledge and previous performance with LMN (landscape management software) a plus.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Strong oral and written communication skills, including customer service skills .
Ability to work effectively and productively both with others in a team environment and independently.
BENEFITS:
Excellent base salary + commission and opportunity for additional bonuses. Total compensation $120K plus with no limits on commission earned.
