Job Summary
We are seeking to hire a division manager for our Landscape Installation Division. The division manager must be capable of managing 3 installation/enhancement crews producing a revenue of $1,200,000.00 annually. The ideal candidate should be driven and eager to grow with a fast growing landscape company.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain estimates to complete a project.
Monitor and manage time and money spent on a project.
Make sure that tasks are completed in a timely fashion.
Leading the day-to-day execution of landscape installation projects through management, crew direction, and scheduling; material, equipment, and subcontractor coordination.
Change order administration and management.
Ensuring optimal productivity and adherence to project timeline and budget through cost management, revenue optimization, and accurate and timely billing.
Communicating effectively and proactively with both internal team members and external contacts.
Ensuring product and service standards through strict quality control by conducting thorough reviews and inspections of completed work.
Operating with high professional and ethical standards with an emphasis on compliance and safety.
Additional tasks as assigned.
Daily review and approval of time entries for assigned crews.
Daily review of estimated project labor hours with the Foreman.
Train, Inspect, and Uphold the installation quality standards with Foreman and production Crews.
Maintain and enforce cleanliness standards for assigned job sites, trucks, trailers, equipment, shop and yard areas.
Oversee daily (pre-trip) inspections on assigned trucks and equipment to include wear and tear, fluid levels and lubrication.
Attend all jobsite meetings and document results in the job folder/CRM.
Schedule final walk through with client prior to crew departure with Designer.
Frequent communication with assigned Clients.
Manage assigned sub-contractors to ensure installation quality standards and job site efficiency.
Submit and communicate all job related receipts to A/R.
Conduct and assist with assigned safety training, including new and existing employees.
Daily project check-ins with Operations Manager and Project Coordinator.
Ensure the CRM project file is complete with all relevant jobsite photos, as-builts, sleeving and OEM’s.
Qualifications:
3- 5 years of experience in the landscape installation industry.
Past experience as a landscaper/groundskeeper preferred
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
Excellent communication skills.
Excellent time management skills.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
Possession a valid driver’s license and health card.
Proficient use of a smart phone, tablet or PC for communication and reporting.
Positive attitude is a must.
