    Gleam Electric is growing and we want you on our team! As a thriving and growing electrical and lighting contracting company with over 7 years in business, we are in search of qualified applicants to assist with our ever growing workload.

    We are searching for a driven, enthusiastic individual to join our team. The landscape project manager responsibilities include learning and developing practical skills, participating in classes and workshops on and offsite, observing all health and safety codes. You should be well-organized, flexible, and willing to assist wherever possible. At this time this will be considered a "one man show with support." We are building our customer base in the Cincinnati area and with time will build a team as well. We are searching for someone to help grow this location and essentially run/complete jobs on your own until we grow our employee base for you to manage.

    To be successful as a project manager, you must have great time management skills and be willing to fit into the existing staff structure. Managing our technicians and being able to respond and deliver criticism in a professional manner, building good relationships with colleagues, and ultimately make a lasting impression.

    Your Responsibilities:

    Oversee and manage all fieldwork within the lighting division.

    Daily attendance, monitoring and reporting.

    Working with division leader and administrative manager on scheduling.

    Assigning daily tasks, Communicating expectations for install and service calls and maintenance visits.

    Inspecting all work on new install and maintenance visits whenever present.

    Delegating tasks on site, ensuring all work is completed in a timely efficient manner.

    Ensuring safe work practices.

    Monitoring hours, relay information to appropriate office staff regarding employee needs.

    Communicating with customers, following up with supervisors on additional work, following up with technicians, on job notes, and other information, Proofreading job notes, adding material to jobs and properly invoicing.

    Answering questions and solving problems related to diagnostics and specific challenges on installs.

    Regulating inventory on trucks and in the shop, keeping all vehicles and works spaces tidy, efficient, functional, and ease of use.

    Buying material needed for jobs.

    Communicate directly with customers

    Address issues that the arise with customers

    Lead lighting installation crew

    Install low voltage lighting systems

    Participate in night time adjustments and walkthroughs on projects completed

    Assist lighting designer with night time demos

    Maintain shop and truck organization and cleanliness

    Hang out door hangers in the neighborhood of installation

    Day to day task include

    Hand trenching

    Install burial cable

    Assemble and install lighting fixtures

    Make electrical connections

    Install low voltage transformers

    Text voltage and amperage of lighting systems

    Requirements:

    1-3 years recommended experience

    High school diploma or GED.

    Driver's license

    Good physical strength and hand-eye coordination may be required.

    Good time management, critical, and interpersonal skills.

    Problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.

    A growth mindset and passion for learning.

    Essential Physical Requirements

    Must be able and willing to work indoors/outdoors and in inclement weather conditions.

    Must be able to lift and carry materials of all shapes and sizes, weighing 50-100 pounds

    Must be able to stand on your feet for 8 hours a day
